Hello, and welcome to the Emotional/Behavioral Support web page. My name is Erica Danneker and I am the Emotional/Behavioral Support Teacher at Mount Nittany Middle School. I also co-share the role of the Autistic Support Teacher along with Melanie Fisher. I have been teaching since 2005 and I am happy to be a part of the Mount Nittany Family. One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves. One is Evil. It is anger, envy , greed, arrogance, lies, hate, superiority and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
