{District Champs 2009}


What a Season !!!!
The Little Lions end the 2009 season with a 12 - 3 record and advanced to the PIAA "AAAA" state final for the first time in school history. 
Congratulations to the players, coaches and staff for a fantastic year !

 
ANNOUNCEMENTS !!

The SC Football Booster Club has decided to purchase commemorative jackets for the 2009 JV/V Football team for their outstanding accomplishments this season.  In order for your son to receive the correct size, he will need to meet with us THIS THURSDAY 1-14 OR FRIDAY 1-15.  Here is the schedule to follow:

 JUNIOR AND SENIOR PLAYERS:  On Thursday, January 14th, ALL junior and senior football players (2009 season) should come to the entrance of the North Building cafeteria between the 4th and 6th lunch periods (between 11 am. - 1:00 pm.) to be sized for jackets that will be presented to you on Sunday, February 7th.  Please make sure you look for Lynn Sebulsky, and Mr. Springer. This is the only way to make sure each player will get the correct size.  We will have several sizes for players to try on.

 SOPHOMORE PLAYERS:  On Friday, January 15th, ALL sophomore football players (2009 season) need to come to the entrance of the South Building cafeteria between the 4th and 6th lunch periods (between 11 am. – 1 pm.) to be sized for jackets.  Again, look for Lynn Sebulsky, and Mr. Springer to try on sizes.  
 

 PLAYERS:  Please try your best to see us on either of these two days.  If one day or the other is better for you to meet with us, please do so.  If you have any questions, please call Lynn Sebulsky at 814-571-3144.

 

  Coaches have scheduled a special second collection session for equipment on Monday 1/18/10, Fairmount Locker Room at 3:30 PM.  This is your last chance to return equipment and uniforms.
 
 Sunday Feb. 7th from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM!  All players in grades 10-12 are invited to attend a special post season banquet with the coaches at the Outback Steakhouse in State College.  Special post-season awards and commemorative apparel will be given to the players in honor of their achievements during this historic 2009 season.

    State Championship T-Shirts, personalized to the State College vs. LaSalle game are available for purchase at www.teamip.com for $20.00.  (This apparel item is different than the one players will be presented with at the 2/7/10 banquet meal.)  This company is endorsed by the PIAA as the official provider of the Championship Apparel.  Championship game programs are also still available for purchase through the www.piaa.org web site.
