halftime of the home games, two contestants will be chosen for the Mike's
Video Halftime Shoot Out. Each contestant will have 30 seconds to make a
lay-up, free-throw, three pointer, and a half court shot. For each
progressive shot made, he or she will receive:
Lay-up - $10 gift card from
Long John Silver's Free Throw - Pizza Party from
Papa Johns Three Pointer - $50 gift
certificate from Damons Half Court Shot - 32 inch
HDTV from Mike's Video, TV and Appliances
The contest
will start at the Shaler game on Saturday, 16-Jan-2010 and is open to State High students
in 9th through 12th grades. Students can register
at the door and will be selected through a random drawing at the end of the
first quarter. Only one TV will be given away during the contest. Once
the TV is given away, there will be no half court attempt. If none of the
contestants wins the TV, a drawing will be held among all the registrants at
the final home game on Tuesday, 15-Feb-2010. Blanket Chest Raffle Continues: Raffle tickets may be purchased at any home varsity or JV game and the blanket chest will be on display. The winner, need not be present, will be chosen at the Central Dauphin East game on 13-Feb-2010. Thanks to Dennis Bender for donating this item for the raffle.
