Delta Program

This is my 16th year working for SCASD;  12 years at the Delta Program in Learning Support.  Every year we are presented with a wide variety of student needs and challenges.  It is fun to watch our students grow and mature... to become productive young adults.  The size of our program allows us to be more nurturing and accepting of differences.  Delta students have more responsibilities and freedoms than in the usual high school setting.  It is truly a community of students, staff and parents.

Since arriving at Delta, I have been trained in CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) and become a trainer for the SCASD;  trained in the SAP (Student Assistance Program), am the chair of the Delta SAP team, and serve on the state board of PASAP; and coordinate intramurals at Delta.

I hold a BS from Penn State University (when Joe Paterno was an assistant coach).
