ACADEMIC SUPPORT CENTER
The State College Area High School is committed to helping every student succeed. The Academic Support Center is designed to give high school students another opportunity to reach their academic potential and to prepare them for lifelong success.
Programs:
• Credit Recovery - This program will allow students to make up a failed course in English, social studies, science, or math using a computer-based program and teacher support from a certified teacher.
• Academic Tutoring - This program will assist students who are earning a grade of either a D or E in English, social studies, science, or math. Students will get support from a certified teacher or through peer tutoring.
Location:
Both programs will take place in the North Library one-day per week for each subject taken for credit recovery or tutoring. The program will run from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Late busses will be available for transportation. There is no cost for either of these programs, but space may be limited.
How to Apply:
