The
CTC Drafting and Design program, a career preparation program in visual
communications, provides students the opportunity to develop skills and
proficiencies needed for employment as CAD operators and CAD Drafting
Technicians. The program provides experiences in CAD, drawing
application and interpretation, design process, solid modeling, and animation and rendering. It also enables students to pursue post
secondary education opportunities in “Tech _Prep” two year Associate of
Arts degree programs in: Drafting Technology, Architectural Drafting
Technology, Engineering Technology, or technical fields implementing
drafting and design skills. It also prepares students who want to
pursue an education in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and
Engineering programs in Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical,
etc.
