  • Welch Pool - Special notice: Starting Monday, June 27, ALL Welch Pool parking will be at High School North for the rest of the summer. For pick-up and drop-off, please use the High School South drive, which will offer 2-way access from Westerly Parkway for this purpose only. Please see attached diagram.

  • Please note: Plaza Drive will be closed for four days this week, June 27, 28, 29, 30. Pedestrian traffic will be allowed but there will be no vehicle access. (Plaza Dr. is next to the former State High drivers training area and across the street from Weis Market shopping center.)

  • School Bus All Aboard for the Kindergarten Bus Orientation Program
    Parents and their kindergarten students are welcome to stop by to learn more about riding the bus and bus safety rules. Participants will have the opportunity to board a bus and take a ride. Siblings are also welcome. Registration is not required.

    All sessions are being held at 10 AM and 2 PM at the following schools:

    Radio Park Elementary - June 22
    Gray's Woods Elementary - June 29
    Ferguson Twp Elementary - July 6
    Easterly Parkway Elementary - July 13
    Mount Nittany Elementary - July 20
    Corl St Elementary - July 27
    Park Forest Elementary - August 3
    Lemont Elementary - August 10
    Bus Schedules for the 2016/17 school year will be available mid-August.  

    The first day of school is Monday, August 29.  See you Then!

  • Community Meetings on the Elementary School Projects

    The State College Area School District administration is pursuing a District-Wide Facilities Master Plan update focused on elementary schools. School Board President Amber Concepcion and Vice President Jim Leous wrote a column in the Centre Daily Times that explains the update's goals and invites public participation in the process.

    Public meetings have been held at Corl Street, Radio Park, and Houserville elementary schools, and Mount Nittany Middle School to discuss, answer questions, and receive input about possible renovation and/or new construction projects.

    The next public meeting is:

    July 18 at 7 p.m. at Ferguson Township Elementary School

  • Registration Office - New Location and Summer Hours

    The Student Registration Office has relocated to the district administration building (next to Memorial Field). The telephone number remains the same, (814) 231-1017. The new address is: State College Area School District, Registration Office, Room 101, 131 W. Nittany Ave., State College, PA  16801

    During the summer, Registration office hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

    New Families - Special Additional Registration times for new families are set for:

      *Sunday, August 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

      *Saturday, August 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
