What is a Graduation Project?
All students are required by state mandate to complete a graduation project as part of their graduation requirements. The project may be completed during the student’s junior or senior year.
The purpose of the graduation project is to provide students with an opportunity to engage in an activity that will allow them to demonstrate their ability to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained throughout their years in the educational system. The project is designed to ensure that students are able to apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information and to communicate significant knowledge and understanding.
The project will be assessed on a pass/fail basis. This assessment will appear on the student’s official transcript.
