Yearbooks are here! 9th and 10th graders can pick up their yearbooks in the South Counseling Office and juniors and seniors can pick up theirs in the North Counseling Office.  You can still purchase a yearbook for $70 cash or check while supplies last.

On Wednesday, May 27 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm the State High PTSO will be hosting a FUNDRAISER at Moe's Southwest Grill on North Atherton Street in the Trader Joe's Plaza. For a suggested donation of $10.00 you get ALL YOU CAN EAT and 100% of the proceeds goes to State High!! Please plan to pay with cash or check, PTSO officers will be there to collect the money.

Come join the Math Club in room 54N this Friday, May 22 for our last GEM Seminar of the year. Our speaker is Dr. Uday Shanbhag who will give a talk entitled "Simply the Best: An Introduction to Optimization." 

 Attention all dancers. The State College Area High School Dance Team will be holding tryouts for high schoolers for our 2015-2016 dance team! Auditions will be held Saturday May 23 from 10:00am-1:00pm at the Dance Academy of State College or Wednesday May 27 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Park Forest Middle School. If interested please email the advisor, Emily Mowery, at for more information. We would love to see you all there. 

ATTENTION COLLEGE BOUND JUNIORS!  All juniors planning on heading to college should take a SAT exam their junior year.  The last SAT test of this school year is June 6.  The registration deadline is May 8 with late registration until May 27 (additional fee is required).  You can register online at  Paper registration forms and practice booklets are available in the North Counseling Office. 

 The Nittany Track and Field youth running club is looking for high school volunteers to assist coaches with the summer track and fall cross country programs. You can earn community service hours by volunteering to help and no track experience is necessary. Please contact Mark Fedkin at Flyers are available in the Counseling Office. Visit to register to help.

Attention seniors who still need community service: Trash to Treasure needs volunteers to help sort through  May 30. There is morning, afternoon and evening shifts available. Go to to sign up! More info in North Counseling Office.
