Don't miss State High Thespian's production of "Curtains" the musical theater murder mystery. Thursday, April 23 thru Sunday, April 26.

The Freshman/Sophomore Spring Dance will be held on Saturday, April 25 from 7-10PM at the High School in the south gym.  The cost is $10 at the door.  Students are reminded that they may not leave the dance before 9:30pm unless they have a parent picking them up.

Attention all Juniors-- The State High Junior Prom will be held on May 15 at the Bryce Jordan Center South Annex from 7:30 to 10:30pm. Tickets will be on sale from April 27 through May 1 during periods 4, 5, and 6 outside the North counseling office. Tickets will be 25 dollars in advance and 30 dollars at the door. This year's theme is "Titanic: Are You DOWN With It?"  

Attention Seniors: The senior class trip will be June 3 to Baltimore with a cruise of the Chesapeake Bay.  Final count must be in May 1.  To sign up for the senior class trip, check your email for info or grab the permission slips on the table outside Mr Kissell's room.

Bonjour tout le monde! Fix your conscience by doing something for people all over the world who are dying of aids and ebola. Help doctors without borders by scavenging for change. How can you donate to save millions of lives all over the world? All YOU have to do is give your donations to your language teachers, and the winning teacher will receive a donut party for ALL of their classes. Donations accepted April 13 - May 1. All forms of money are welcome and if you would like to send a check please make it out to either SCASD Activities Fund or Doctors Without Borders. Don’t miss out on your chance to save a life. Donate today! 

The underclass Awards Ceremony is TuesdayMay 12 at 7:00 in the North main Gym. Any students getting an award will have a letter send to their parents.

Attention any student interested in trying out for JV or Varsity cheer next year: there will be a cheer clinic on May 16 from 7:45-10AM in the HS North Small gym. Please check the SCASD Cheer Webpage for more information. Also, please do your best to attend Tuesdays and Thursdays at the fitness center. Email coaches Boyd or James with questions.

Elmcroft is looking for high school volunteers.  Elmcroft is a Senior and Memory Care Community located at the corner of Circleville and Valley Vista roads.  They are striving to establish outside links within the community to keep their residents in touch with the world around them.  Students can do all types of activities to interact with their residents and they love spending time with the younger generation.  Please consider this community service opportunity. Flyers are in the North Counseling Office.

The Nittany Track and Field youth running club is looking for high school volunteers to assist coaches with the summer track and fall cross country programs. You can earn community service hours by volunteering to help and no track experience is necessary. Please contact Mark Fedkin at Flyers are available in the Counseling Office. The Renaissance Faire club is looking for vendors to sell their wares at our Faire this year to create a historical market atmosphere. These wares can be anything Renaissance related such as pottery or jewelry. Vendors must agree to donate 10% of their profits to support the Ren Faire Club. ATTENTION COLLEGE BOUND JUNIORS!  All juniors planning on heading to college should take a SAT exam their junior year.  The last SAT test of this school year is June 6.  The registration deadline is May 8 with late registration until May 27 (additional fee is required).  You can register online at  Paper registration forms and practice booklets are available in the North Counseling Office.
