The program prepares students to work with children in many careers. From daycare to education, from the public sector to private enterprise, students explore a variety of possibilities if their career objective includes children.

Early Childhood Education is an interactive program in which students participate in a supervised preschool experience called "The Little Lions Playroom." The knowledge and skills learned in each course in the curriculum is practiced with preschool children. Every course includes such skills as providing basic child care, child development, furnishing a safe and healthy learning environment for children, and nurturing children as well as learning about career options in Early Childhood Education.
