Post-Secondary Preparation

Our CTC programs, when combined with appropriate academic courses, provide students with a solid foundation of academic and technical experiences. Such experiences prepare students to continue their education at community colleges, technical schools, colleges, and universities. Students wishing to pursue post-secondary education in their technical fields should consider, when possible, applying to those schools with whom the CTC has formed unique partnerships. These partnerships are formalized with signed articulation agreements between institutions. CTC students may receive such benefits as: guaranteed admission, credit by examination, waiver of application fee, exemption from certain college level courses, advanced credit, or advanced placement.

We work with the following post-secondary schools as part of the Tech Prep Program:

Students can also elect to take certain Penn State courses for which they can receive dual high school and college credit.
