No matter what you decide to do after graduation, you need to understand how your educational rights will change. You will have to be an excellent self-advocate who can explain your disability and any needed accommodations that are required for you to be successful in the work place or the school you are attending. In addition, your educational rights as an individual with a disability will change once you leave high school. While you are in high school, you are protected under IDEA.
