Laptop/iPad Cart Information
 
  • The number of devices in the carts currently is the same as it was last year. About two weeks after the beginning of the school year, I will look at the largest class size and make that the number of devices in the cart. Expect the number of devices in the cart to change.

  • Spare laptops and iPads will be stored in the library just like they were last year. If a device in the cart breaks, take it to the library, pick up a spare and email the helpdesk. This last step is especially important! It is not the responsibility of the library staff to report the problem. Make sure to include in your message the SCASD number on the device and a description of the problem.

  • Room locations listed in the chart below are used for inventory purposes and to help Computer Services get a general location of each cart. Carts are expected to be used in classrooms therefore carts do not have to remain in the same location at all times.
  • Each cart will be maintained two or three times a year. These maintenance dates are set in stone. Please, mark your calendar! The maintenance dates for 2012-13 are:
