Meet Mr. Wertz Thank you for visiting my web page! Here is some information that I thought students and parents might find interesting about me. I currently live in Williamsport, PA with my beautiful wife, Emily, my son, Quint, and our dog, Buddy. Before teaching in the State College School District, I taught General Elementary Music and Choir in the Huntingdon School District at two schools, Jackson Miller and Standing Stone Elementary. I graduated from the Robert E. Cook Honor's College of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I majored in Music Education with concentrations in voice and piano. I also previously managed our family's business, Indian Caverns for two years. I enjoy teaching elementary students so much because of their excitement, energy and willingness to participate. What better job could I have than one where I play my guitar everyday and sing with some pretty amazing children?
