When should I register?
Now! Or as soon as you can as many classes fill quickly.  We often need to order supplies or textbooks so your prompt registration is appreciated.

Is there a Senior discount?
Yes, registrants age 62 or older may enroll for courses with a 10% reduction in registration fees, with the exception of some personal supply fees.  Enter coupon code SENDISC at checkout.

Will classes be held if we experience inclement weather?
If State College Area School District closes schools for the day OR dismisses early due to weather conditions, all Community Education courses are canceled. 
This information can be found on the District's homepage in the upper right hand corner.  Every attempt will be made to contact participants via phone or by email in the event a class is canceled. 

Can I register for classes if I live outside the State College Area School District?
Certainly!  SCASD nonresidents must pay an additional $25.00 fee for adult courses and $15.00 for youth courses. 


What is your refund policy?
You must contact our office at least 5 business days prior to the start of a class to cancel.  All cancellations are subject to a $15 non-refundable processing fee.  No refunds are granted for cancellations made with less than 5 business days notification. 

Do you ever cancel classes due to low enrollment?
Community Education reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment.  Decisions regarding course cancellations are made approximately one week before a course begins.  A full refund is issued if a course is cancelled due to low enrollment.
