Growing up in Central Pennsylvania has presented me with many terrific experiences! Most importantly, it's filled me with warm childhood memories, exciting college adventures, welcoming arms for raising a family and an opportunity for pursuing my dream of becoming a teacher.
I was raised in Aaronsburg, PA and enjoyed completing my first 13 years of education in the Penns Valley Area School District. Following graduation, I attended Penn State University. As an undergraduate, I completed Marine Corp Officer Training and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Administration of Justice. Immediately following, I returned to PSU to acquire my Elementary Teaching Certification. I participated in the PDS program my final year and was an intern at Houserville Elementary in fifth grade.
It has been a most rewarding past several years in State College Area School District. I have been fortunate to work in several of the elementary schools, at many different grade levels. However, sixth grade is where I'm truly meant to be! I am absolutely thrilled to be back here at Mount Nittany Middle School and look forward to getting to know you all!
Let's have a great year!
