At Delta, shared decision making is a basic principle of governance. Advisory Council, composed of 13 students, five parents, three teachers, and the Director (a non-voting member), meets monthly to advise on policy, assess program needs, and make recommendations on scheduling, budgets, curriculum, the school environment, and other related matters.
