Galaxy, the Arts in Education Program, is a program of Central Intermediate Unit (CIU) 10, which supports and serves education in schools and communities across Centre, Clearfield and Clinton counties.

Galaxy’s primary mission is to provide support and resources to local school districts to ensure a comprehensive Arts program for all students, thereby enhancing a school’s academic offerings and improving student achievement in all areas of the curriculum. Galaxy also strives to bring the highest quality professional artists into community organizations across the region, so that all populations can engage in and enjoy rich and varied arts experiences.

The Artist Residency program offers a unique opportunity for students and teachers (as well as populations outside of schools) to learn about and explore an art form with a professional artist over an extended period of time.
