To improve homework completion or provide help to students who have difficulty with assignments, teachers may assign students to our MNMS Homework Club. Parents may request placement for their child in our Homework Club as well. Contact a team teacher or counselor to make the arrangements. Homework Club meets in the library on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:25-5:30 pm. Computer and library resources are available for students to use. Staff members and Penn State volunteers help students with understanding their assignments, preparing for tests, and completing projects. Students may ride the late bus home. Teachers will send home the Homework Club Parent/Guardian Permission Form for a parent/guardian signature for admission into that week's Homework Club. Specific work to be completed will be listed. Transportation must be arranged before the student arrives at Homework Club. Students who are being picked up will be escorted to the flagpole door at 5:30. Parents who arrive earlier need to come to the library to retrieve their sons/daughters. The late bus is available at 5:45. |
