  • State High Project construction bids awarded

    On Monday, Nov. 30, the State High Project passed a significant milestone along its long journey to completion. At a special meeting, the State College Area School District Board of School Directors awarded construction base bids and bid alternates for the project. The low base bids totalled $117,023,100, and the Board voted to accept $3,479,100 of alternates. The total district cost will be $137,249,182. Here is a summary of the results, including the accepted bid alternate options.

  • New location for Board of School Directors meetings

    Beginning Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, the SCASD Board of School Directors meetings will be held at the Panorama Village building, Meeting Room A, 240 Villa Crest Drive, State College. As is the current practice, all meetings begin at 7 p.m.

    The Community Education Department has openings for part-time after school employees. Hours are generally between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Call 231-1061 (Community Education Department) for additional information.
