Stewards of Children - A Darkness to Light Prevention Training Program

This 2.5 hour program teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program is designed for organizations that serve youth and for individuals concerned about the safety of children. Check for new information about dates and locations.

Family Outreach Materials at Schlow Centre Region Library

Some of the materials formerly located in the SCASD central family outreach collection have been cataloged and placed in the Parent-Teacher Collection in the Children's Department at Schlow Centre Region Library. This will enable parents and caregivers to more conveniently access them.

Tuning In To Kids: Raising Emotionally Intelligent Children

This is a free program for parents of children age 2 and up. The focus is on helping parents teach their children how to identify and manage their emotions. Watch for information about Fall, 2013 sessions!
