The lock on the front of the cart can be opened with your building key.
When moving the cart, turn off the master switch (on the back of the cart), then unplug it.
It is recommended that adults unplug and plug the iPads from the cart.
Want to make sure that the iPads are plugged in? Look at the back of the cart! A green light indicates that the iPad is plugged in and fully charged. An amber light indicates that an iPad is plugged in and still charging. No light indicates that the iPad is not in the cart or is not plugged in correctly.
Each cart is color coded and each iPad in the cart has a colored dot on the back.
The dot indicates which slot the iPad belongs in. Best practice is to make sure that the iPads are in the right slot which makes it easier to identify which ones are missing (if any).
If there is a problem with an iPad and needs to be reported to the helpdesk, make sure that you include the SCASD number which can be found on the back of the iPad.
