Kindergarten Orientation Information for Fall 2013

Our Kindergarten Orientation session will occur on our first day of school, Tuesday, August 27th. Parents and their kindergarten child are invited to attend our one hour orientation session according to the following schedule: 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00. You will receive a letter in the middle of August indicating to which session you have been assigned. The children will meet their teacher, become familiar with the classroom, listen to a story, and have an opportunity to work at a learning center. Parents will have time to fill out bus cards and emergency forms, listen to a brief description of the program and school policies, and ask questions. Please bring important phone numbers to this meeting (work, physician(s), friends/relatives to call in case of an emergency). In addition, you may want to bring your snack money with you to this meeting. A healthy snack will be provided each day for children to enjoy. In order to provide these snacks, we ask that each family pay a one time fee of $30.00 for the year (payable in two payments of $15.00or one payment of $30.00 to Radio Park Student Activities Account).

The first full day of school for our kindergarten students is Wednesday, August 28th.

Please make sure your kindergarten child wears his/her bus tag throughout the first week of school so we can be sure everyone is on the correct bus.
