  • No School School will not be in session on Thursday, October 17th and Friday, October 18th due to parent-teacher conferences. Classes will resume on Monday, October 21st.

  • The results of our September Box Tops contest are in!
     
    With a whopping 426 Box Tops turned in already, Mrs. Neely's class is off to an AMAZING start -- earning an extra recess, kickball with Mrs. Yoder, and the Traveling Trophy to display for the month!
     
    Some other prizes the classes will be competing for this year include a Pajama Day, a Just Dance Party, and a Popcorn Party...as well as a school-wide Popsicle Party if we reach our yearly goal!
     
    Keep sending in those Box Tops clips and download the Box Tops for Education app to scan your receipts for the new labels…and we’ll see who takes the prizes for October!

      Scholastic Book Fairs Logo  

    Mark your calendars for the Fall Scholastic Book Fair, which will be held Oct. 14-18. Volunteers will be needed to staff the sale.

    The first  Parent-Child Book Club of the new school year will be held on Thurs., Oct. 24th, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the EP library. This is open to students and parents of 4th and 5th graders.   Book Club

  • Social Justice Summer Institute

    Attending the district’s inaugural Social Justice Summer Institute at State High, students spent a week learning about identity, discrimination, cross-cultural competence and the concerns of marginalized groups.

  • State High To Play Historic Game in Beaver Stadium

    For decades, a fall Saturday in Beaver Stadium has meant cheering on teams wearing blue and white — until now. State High’s maroon and gray Little Lions will take on Cumberland Valley in a Mid Penn Conference game at the stadium on Oct. 26.

  • EnvironMentors Chapter Looks To Build On Success

    Two State High students won a national award in June for their research project after partnering with Penn State educators in the EnvironMentors program for students from underrepresented backgrounds.
