All employees of the State College Area School District are expected to be familiar with, understand, and comply with applicable District policies, regulations, procedures, guidelines, contracts, and handbooks.
Newly hired employees are expected to review and become familiar with the foregoing within their first 30 days of employment. All continuing employees are expected to review and refresh their understanding of

All employees are required to be aware of the following. Additional training will be available through My Learning Plan (MLP).
PA Chapters 14 (Special Education), 15 (Protected Handicapped Students - 504), and 16 (Special Education for Gifted):
All professionals and paraprofessionals who provide services to our students receiving special education, gifted education, or 504 services are reminded about their professional responsibilities to review and implement these legally binding documents, as per PA Chapters 14 (Special Education), 15 (Protected Handicapped Students - 504), and 16 (Special Education for Gifted). All employees are reminded of the specially designed instruction and/or accommodations developed by the team when initially created, renewed, or modified. If further explanation is needed, it is expected that all professionals will contact the assigned case manager/school counselor/principal to assist.

Use of Personal Vehicle for District-Related Travel:
In order to be reimbursed for District-related travel when using your own vehicle, you must first provide to the Business Office a copy of your valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance as required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
