  • Welcome! I am so happy to be a part of your child's learning journey!

I have a background in Early Childhood Education, and although this is my sixth year with SCASD, I have been working with children in some capacity for the past thirty years. I love learning and teaching, and interacting with all kinds of children, helping them grow and develop. I believe in developing the Whole Child, so mental and physical health is just as important to me as academic growth.

My family consists of my husband who works at Penn State, and my daughter and son are both at State High. As a family, we love watching movies, playing games, and doing things together, even if it's just sitting in the same room on our phones sharing memes. My children are learning basic life skills like cooking, so we spend time in the kitchen, learning new foods and trying new things! They keep me busy but I enjoy the time I spend with them.

My educational experience includes a Bachelors from Penn State and a Masters from Grand Canyon University. I am also a SCASD alum, class of 1998.
In my downtime, when I can get some, I love to read, do brain builders like sudoku or crossword puzzles, watch Disney movies (and sing along) and have some good old quiet reflection time.
