    Hello!  I'm Ms. McLaughlin.  This is my 21st year of teaching.  I am very excited to teach fifth grade!
     
    I was born here in State College and have lived here most of my life. I went to Fairmount Elementary School and I graduated from State High in 1994.  I graduated from Slippery Rock University in 1999.  After college I taught in Las Vegas, NV for two years.  I moved back to State College in 2001 and thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2002. I have enjoyed many adventures, but I am very happy in the classroom sharing and learning with my students!
     
    When I am not in the classroom I am spending time with my family.  My daughter Emma, is a senior at State High and my son Everett is a sixth grader at ount Nittany Middle School this year. We enjoyed two weeks on Nantucket with y extended family.  We are also excited for Grange Fair where both kids show anials as part of 4H.
     
    Let's do the best we can to make it a GREAT year!  I am looking forward to another year of working with the students and families at Radio Park!
