    The State College Area School District Board of Directors
    The State College Area School District is governed by a nine-member Board of School Directors. Each board member is elected for a four-year term of office. The board meets on the first and third Monday of each month. Additional meetings and work sessions are advertised in the local media.

    Attend Board Meetings
    The public is invited to attend all regular meetings and work sessions. Time is provided at the beginning of every meeting for public comment. Information about the meetings is also available from the Office of the Superintendent at 814-231-1016.

    Location for Board of School Directors Meetings
    Due to an increase in enrollments for the 2021-2022 academic year, three 5th grade classrooms have been moved to Panorama Village Administration Center. One of the classrooms occupies the Boardroom where the Board holds its meetings. As a result, the Board is moving its meeting location to the College Township Municipal Building, 1481 E College Ave, State College, PA 16801, for the remainder of 2021. All meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. Due to pandemic conditions, the meetings will be a hybrid combination of remote and in-person. Space limitations allow for 20 members of the general public. Those who wish to attend in person must register via this Google form sign-up.

    The remaining dates are:

    • September 13, 2021
    • October 4 and 18, 2021
    • November 1 and 15, 2021
    • December 6 and 20, 2021

    Right-to-Know Law
    In compliance with the Pennsylvania Right To Know Law (Act 3 of 2008) effective January 1, 2009, the State College Area School District has adopted a right to know policy, Policy 801 Public Records, and clear procedures so community members can obtain public records.     August 2, 16, and 20, 2021 (August 20 will be remote only)
    September 13  (September 27 meeting has been cancelled)
    October 4 and 18, 2021
    November 1 and 15, 2021
    December 6 and 20, 2021
