Mentor for Students at SCASD HEARTS Program
Looking for students interested in mentoring elementary students with behavioral challenges.  Mentors could play a game with a student, read a book together, complete puzzles, coloring, etc.  Times that mentoring could take place-
9:00 AM-10:05 AM (but not day 5 of the elementary cycle)
12:00 PM-1:35 PM (Monday to Thursday)
Please see Katie in the Delta main office if interested.  Or email Katie at [email protected]
    The Brave Beanie Project
Do you knit or crochet? Check out how you can help this local organization! If you don't, there are still opportunities to create their "Princess Beanie" design without any prior experience. Get a group together for a class on how to do this, either virtually or in person, or contact them to see what you might be able to do individually.

    Another opportunity...
There are several organizations that distribute letters to individuals that may otherwise not receive correspondence.
Please make arrangements with Nick or Deb if you are interested in taking part in one of these (or other) service-based letter writing campaigns and would like it to count towards your service credit.
