• Greetings Students and Parents!

I look forward to serving you this year!  I have been interested in foreign languages and culture since I can remember.  I'm a 1989 graduate of Clearfield high School, and during my high school career, I studied French for 4 years, Spanish for 2 and German for 1 year.  Afterward, I attended Penn State for 2 years at the DuBois campus.  Indecisiveness and a desire for adventure lead me to postpone my studies and join the Navy, which was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.  Later, in 2004, I completed my Undergraduate work at UNC Wilmington where I earned a B.A. in both French and Spanish with Teacher Certification.  Later in 2011 I completed a Masters in Education at Grand Canyon University and I have been continuing my professional development through various courses and resources.

This year will be my 15th year of teaching (14th in the district).  I have traveled with students 10 times to Europe, French-speaking Canada, Peru, Costa Rica, Spain and Portugal.  Stay tuned for announcements about travel opportunities in 2019 to France and Puerto Rico!

On a personal note, I live with my husband in Bellefonte.  I enjoy traveling, movies, working out and teaching. I love the beach, especially snorkeling!

Please contact me anytime.  I hope we all have a great year!
