    Welcome to World History I
     
    World History Textbook  
         World History I, the first course in the two-year program in World History, focuses on building geography skills, expanding cultural awareness, reviewing the hallmarks of civilization, and examining the study of the history and humanity from the birth of the world religions through the Age of Exploration.  Students will participate in a variety of activities that include, but are not necessarily limited to large and small group discussions, projects, research, and oral presentations.  This course strives to provide students with the skills and knowledge to become responsible citizens in a global society and to think like a historian.
