• EP Parent-Child Book Club

    The nextt  Parent-Child Book Club  will be held on Wednesday., December 11th, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the EP library. This is open to students and parents of 4th and 5th graders.  Advance registration is required, please contact Mrs. Alterio if interested in joining.  Book Club

    Results from the November Box Tops collection are in! Beating the closest competition by only 12 additional Box Tops, Mrs. Davy’s class takes the Traveling Trophy prize this month for collecting the most Box Tops in November. CONGRATULATIONS!

    Additional prizes of an EXTRA RECESS go to… Ms. McCracken, Mrs. Croswell, and Mrs. Finley’s classes! Mrs. Neely’s class is still in 1st Place overall for the year… but there’s still lots of time left!

    Don’t forget to download the new Box Tops app if you haven’t done so yet at … and we’ll see who comes out on top for the month of December!

  • Restaurant Fundraiser:  January 7th--- Take a break from cooking and enjoy dinner at Home D Pizzeria or order take-out, too!  Home D will make a donation to the EP PTO for all food sales on January 7th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at their State College Restaurant.  Just show them your flyer!  It's as easy as that!!

    Sustainable features are noteworthy and vital components of State College Area School District’s new buildings and all five have earned LEED certification. “State College has been leading the way in sustainability for more than 10 years,” says architect Jeff Straub.

  • A True Taste of American Culture

    ESL students from around the world prepared a traditional holiday feast. Everyone dug into plates laden with turkey and gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, applesauce, green beans, cranberry sauce, cornbread and, of course, pumpkin pie — a true taste of American culture.

  • Dropping Tracks in the New Audio Lab

    A drum loop here, a bass loop there, and two girls suddenly had a funky track pouring out of their laptop computer in Park Forest Middle School's new audio lab.

  • National Merit Scholarship Semi-finalists

    This month, 16 State College Area School District high school students were named National Merit Scholarship semi-finalists. National Merit semi-finalists are selected based on their scores on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test.
