• We have a very active after school Intramural Program for 4th and 5th graders at Easterly Parkway. The program runs two days a week starting right after dismissal until 4:30 p.m. There are usually 18 sessions held in the fall starting a few weeks after school starts. There is no fee for the fall intramurals. Prior to the activity, students will bring home information for the fall intramurals.  A signed permission form and an emergency information form need to be returned to the intramural coordinator in order for the student to participate. It is not necessary for students to attend all sessions. Tell your son or daughter to listen for intramural announcements.

During basketball, students will practice throwing baskets in order to prepare them for the Elk's Club Hoop Shoot Contest that is held every January. The Hoop Shoot will be held at Mount Nittany Middle School. Winners from the Easterly Parkway basketball practice will be eligible to compete at the Elk's Hoop Shoot. All participants in the contest will receive a free tee shirt. Winners of that contest may advance to another level of competition.

Also this fall, swimming will be offered for 3 days at the High School North Natatorium.  Swimmers must bring their own bathing suit and towel to school.  A school bus will transport students over to the natatorium immediately following dismissal.  Parents will need to pick their child up by 4:30 p.m. from the Natatorium.

If you have any questions about the fall activities, please call Esther Cordell, intramural coordinator for EP, at 814-231-1170.
