I was born and raised in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, and I enjoy watching the Steelers, Penguins & Pirates! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two daughters. I also enjoy running, reading, camping, watching sports, and playing with our dog, Rusty.
I attended the University of Pittsburgh and received a BS in Psychology with a Concentration in Elementary Education in 2005. I moved to State College in 2006 to pursue my Pennsylvania State Teaching Certification through Penn State University. As a graduate student at Penn State, I was fortunate to be able to complete my student teaching experience at Easterly Parkway in third grade. Over the past several years, I've taught both third and fourth grade, and I'm looking forward to another exciting year at Easterly Parkway.
