• ACADEMIC COMPONENT
    Our curriculum is written by teachers from the State College Area elementary schools and the curriculum specialists in the district. It is based on Pennsylvania Department of Education standards. Materials, activities, and textbooks are school board approved for all regular elementary school students. The courses, however, are delivered on an individual basis according to student ability and need.

    The academic curricula will focus on language arts, reading, and math and will closely parallel the instruction at the student’s home school. Instruction will be in accord with the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s standards and assessments.
