    Mystery Readers in the Classroom:
Mystery Readers come to the classroom and read to the students. They provide the teacher with 3 clues before coming and the students try to figure out who they are before they arrive. The mystery reader can choose to bring an appropriate book with them (one that is age and topic appropriate and will take about 15 minutes to read) or the teacher can provide one for them.
Once the mystery reader arrives in the classroom, they will introduce themselves, tell the class a little bit about themselves, and then read the book. After reading, the mystery reader will share with the class why reading is important to them, how they use reading in their profession and/or everyday life. Then, we will have a brief Q & A. We wrap up our mystery reader session with a picture.

Mystery Reader in the Remote Classroom:
The mystery reader will email the teacher to let them know they are interested in being a mystery reader. The teacher will share a few times and dates that work with the remote schedule. Once a time and date are confirmed, the mystery reader will be emailed a secured link to join to read to the class. The mystery reader will give the teacher 3 clues for the students to try to guess who they are before joining the remote classroom. Once the mystery reader has joined, they will introduce themself, read the book, and share with the class why reading is important to them.
