    LifeLink PSU - Meet Our Staff
     
     

    Ellen Cannizzaro is the Program Coordinator for LifeLink PSU.  Ellen has worked as a Learning Support Teacher in the State College Area School District for 14 years.  In August 2018 she came to LifeLink PSU as the Program Coordinator and Special Education Teacher.  Originally from New York, she holds an undergraduate degree in Special Education and a Masters degree in Education.  She is currently working on her second Masters in Education Technology.  In her free time she enjoys traveling, kayaking, spending time with her husband Pete and their three children, Alisha, Josh and Jake.  

    Sandy Cecco is certified as a highly qualified paraprofessional for LifeLink PSU. She began this position in 2007. She has worked for the State College Area School District as a paraprofessional since 1999 and prior to that she worked as a supervisor at Hills Department Store/Ames for twelve years. Currently, Sandy also works a Job Coach for LifeLink PSU students in their work/volunteer experience and as a habaide providing respite care for adults with disabilities. She also enjoys spending time with her son and daughter, and her two grandchildren.

    Patty Madore joined the LifeLink PSU team as a paraprofessional in April 2016.  Prior to that she worked as a para for 6 years in kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms at Corl Street and Lemont Elementary School classrooms. Born and raised in State College, Patty earned a Bachelors degree from Penn State in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a Masters degree also from Penn State in Deaf Education. When she isn’t working Patty loves spending time with her wonderful kids; McKenzie, Madison and Andy. She is honored to be involved with such an amazing program.

    Rosemary Schwoerer came to LifeLink PSU in summer 2018 from Gray's Woods Elementary where she had been a special education paraeducator for the past 14 years. Originally from suburban Philadelphia, she has an undergraduate degree from Saint Joe's University and a Masters degree from Temple University both in Psychology. A resident of Port Matilda for 25 years, she lives with her husband with whom she raised (as an unbiased parent) three amazing daughters. Rosemary knits, makes beaded jewelry, gardens, reads and still runs around from NY to PA to TX to see her daughters as often as possible. She is thrilled to become part of the outstanding LifeLink PSU program.
