Degrees and Certifications:
I am from Kittanning, Pennsylvania, a small town about 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh. Since I grew up close to Pittsburgh, I am a big Pittsburgh sports fan. My favorite team is the Pittsburgh Penguins.
I graduated from Saint Francis University. During my time at Saint Francis, I competed on the Women’s Golf Team as a Division I athlete. Being a student-athlete has taught me great time management skills, along with organization, hard work, and dedication. I believe these are some of the values that students will take with them through life. Being a student athlete has also provided me with various opportunities to give back to the community -one of the amazing things Delta provides for students, too! I look forward to working with the students at Delta and continuing to give back to the community.
I am the Assistant Coach for the State High Girls Golf Team. This will be my fifth year coaching. Outside the classroom and the golf course, I love to travel and bake. I have been fortunate enough to visit places across the United States, as well as other countries.
This year is the start of my sixth year at Delta. I could not be more excited for this opportunity to teach at Delta and help students learn and grow. The Delta program allows students to voice their opinions and take an active role in their education. It is my hope that it will become a second home for the students, a place where they feel comfortable to contribute inside and outside of the classroom.
