What do I need to be successful?
What do I need to be a successful in-person or remote learner?
Welcome to second grade! We are very lucky to have a wonderful PTO who provides our school with all the basic "back to school" supplies you will need. When the first day comes around all you will need to do is show up or log on to school with a set of headphones (over the head are preferred), a backpack large enough to fit a Chromebook, library books, water bottle, and a lunch box if you are an in-person learner, and a positive attitude! The rest is ready for you in your learning box!
(If your child is an in-person learner, please label everything your child brings to school with their name using a sharpie marker. Thanks!)
Are there supplies that I can contribute to our classroom?
A link to our classroom Wish List on Amazon can be found here: Mrs. Narber's Wish List
We are always grateful and appreciative of donations for the following items if you would like to contribute. However, it is completely voluntary to do so:
- Boxes of tissues (we can never have too many boxes of tissues!)
- Clorox wipes
- Post-it notes
- Walmart/Amazon Gift Cards
- Flashlight and batteries for "Flashlight Friday Readings!
Flashlight Friday's Reading happens on...wait for it...FRIDAY!! We turn off the lights and close the blinds. Students will get comfy in their spot at school or in their learning space at home and use a flashlight to read their favorite book(s). Sometimes we will do a whole group Flashlight Friday Reading and I will read a new book recently discovered in the Spring Creek library. It is always a fun time! (Please label your child's flashlight with his or her name. Thanks!)
