• A Note From Your Child's Teacher

    I am a central Pennsylvania native and earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh and have earned certification to teach preschool through 8th grade. After seven years of teaching at various levels in Maryland and Pennsylvania, I chose to stay at home for a few years to raise my own kids, before returning to the classroom. I have been in the SCASD family for nearly three decades as a teacher, parent, para and volunteer. 

     
    Teaching your children is a privilege and I look forward to meeting you and your child so that we may work together to nurture their growth during this very important second grade year!   
     
    Please feel free to contact me with questions, thoughts or concerns throughout the year. E-mail is a form of communication which I check daily and typically respond to within 24 hours. If you have a matter you'd rather speak to me directly about, you are welcome to schedule a meeting.  The school number is 231-5026. During the hours from 7:55 to 3:15, of course, I will be busy with your children. You may still leave a message during those hours. You may also call/text my personal line after 7:30 AM and before 9:00 PM.
