    Patriotic Journey

    • Create an accepting classroom community that enables all classmates to feel safe, comfortable, accepted, and valued.

    • Identify the four basic human emotions - happy, sad, mad, and scared - and recognize what can elicit these feelings.

    • Understand and demonstrate appropriate ways to deal with the four basic emotions.

    • Know who Betsy Ross is and why she is an important American.
