    Prerequisites: Exploring Culinary Arts 1 and 2 or Teacher Approval


    This is a full-year, two-credit course designed for students pursuing a career in the culinary, hospitality, or foodservice industry. Course curriculum is based on the National Restaurant Association’s ProStart® program; ProStart® unites the foodservice industry and the classroom to teach high school students culinary skills and restaurant management principles, as well as employability skills such as communication, teamwork, professionalism and time management. Students are required to wear uniforms and slip resistant shoes. An additional uniform / program fee applies (financial support is available).
