• Meet Mrs. Russell
Hi!  My name is Rebecca Russell and I am very excited to be your child's first grade teacher this year!  This will be my fifth year at Ferguson Township Elementary School and my fourteenth year of teaching.
I am originally from Ohio where I graduated from Muskingum University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education.  I earned my Master of Science degree in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University in 2015.  I currently reside in State College with my husband, Chris, and our children Hadley and Grayson.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, working out, watching sports, and learning new ways to become a better teacher.
I am looking forward to meeting my students and can't wait to work alongside you in order to make this an incredible year for your first grader!
Here's a recent picture of my family while at the beach this past summer!

    Meet the Paraprofessional

Hello!  My name is Kelly Corradini and I will be the classroom paraprofessional.  This is my first year at Ferguson, but I have been a First Grade Paraprofessional in another school within the State College School District.  I graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  My husband and I have lived in the State College area for nearly 20 years.  We currently reside in Pine Grove Mills with our son, Cooper, and our dog, Bengee.  Cooper is also proud to be a part of the Ferguson Freezers! In my free time, I enjoy bike rides, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.  I look forward to a fantastic year!
