Mr. Jason Donaldson

I have been a Technology Education teacher since 2009 in STEM areas related to materials-processing, drafting, CAD, video, computer graphics and construction.  My post-secondary education came from California University of PA with a Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Technology Education.  I'm passionate about making things and learning by doing and I love helping students with that same experience. 

My wife and I have two kids.  Being a parent has helped me as a teacher as I learn about child development and how learning can be fun when fit into daily activities.  Out of school, I am involved in my church and often tackling remodeling and construction projects at home.  I’ve also been learning software and equipment that will be used in my classes this year.

I am very excited to be a part of the State College High School team and to be able to work with high quality educators and students in this position.  I’m looking forward to the projects that my students will be creating in Mateials Processing and Adv. Tech Research & Design this year!
