    Freshman Choir is the grade level curricular choir for all 9th graders.  All Freshman ensembles are scheduled during block 1, with Freshman Choir meeting 1.2 and Freshman Band and Orchestra meeting 1.1.  This allows 9th grade students to schedule all their music ensembles in a single block.  In Freshman Choir students will build their musicianship skills, including sight-singing, vocal technique, and knowledge of style and historical periods in music.  The Freshman Choir repertoire spans the gamut from Renaissance motets and madrigals to musical theatre and pop.
