    The State College Area High School Master Singers is the premiere auditioned curricular choral ensemble at the high school.  An ensemble comprised of 60 10th through 12th grade singers, Master Singers specializes in performing the great choral works from the Renaissance to the 21st century.  Performances of note from the 2018-2019 year included Mendelssohn's massive oratorio Elijah, as well as the motet "Der Geist hilft unserer Schwachheit auf" BWV 226 and Ralph Vaughan Williams' Three Shakespeare Songs.  Singers are selected through competitive audition and receive an advanced weighted credit for participation.
