This semester long class provides a sampling of a variety of materials, tools, and techniques used in the jewelry making process. We will focus on the process while exploring the history, evolution, and creativity of jewelry. Units of study will include Hemp Knotting, Handmade clay and paper beads, Metalwork and Wire, Fused glass, Enameling and Upcycled, Recycled and alternative materials used for wearable art.
