• Precalculus (1.0 Mathematics credit) is a year long course.  This course provides a background for students who plan to study university-level calculus.  Students should have achieved at least a 'B' in Algebra 2 if taking this class.  The major content of this course is split into two major focuses of study:  extensions of previously learned algebra topics and trigonometric functions.  Previously learned topics include rational functions, vectors, polynomial functions, complex numbers, exponential & logarithmic functions, and sequences & series.
