Paul Brigman is a Pennsylvania certified school counselor, also certified in in secondary education. He holds a Master's Degree (2013) and Bachelor's Degree (2004) from Penn State University and is a graduate of State High (2000). Paul has extensive professional experience in experiential education programming and administration, residential environmental education, outdoor youth programming, adolescent leadership development, and experiential curriculum design. From 2005-2011 Paul served as the Assistant Director of Environmental Education Programming at Penn State's Shaver's Creek Environmental Center where he led Outdoor School (ODS) and Summer Camp programs as a year-round on-site director. While pursuing his Master's Degree at Penn State from 2011-2013, Paul developed research interests in adolescent mental health, adolescent development, and family systems. He served as a member of the Collegiate Center for Mental Health (CCMH) from 2012-2013 and he is an active member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA). Beyond his world of counseling and educational leadership, Paul is an active musician, an outdoor adventurer, an avid birder, an enthusiastic gardner, a storyteller, an optimist, and a committed life-long-learner.
