Meet Mrs. Piazza
Welcome to second grade! I’ve been working as a first/second grade paraprofessional at PFE for ten years now. I spent many hours this summer teaching my younger son to drive, and I’m still here to tell the tale :). This year he is starting as a freshman in the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, where my older son is a senior. As it turns out, my sons are going to be living in the same dorm (not by choice!). When not acting as a driving instructor this summer I took a trip to Montauk, NY and enjoyed lots of beach time with my husband, who is a professor of Biomechanics at Penn State. My family would not be complete without two black cats, Oscar and Lucy, who together get up to a lot of mischief. In my free time I like to read, write poetry and nonfiction, and take long walks on the trails and at the parks in and around State College. I especially love the Arboretum! I can’t wait to meet you in just a few weeks!
Here I am reading on a hike at Shingletown Gap!
